Dropped Vase is made in the image of “A Superb and Very Rare yang cai Reticulated Double-Walled Vase” which made the news when it was sold at auction by Bainbridges for $70 million. Dropped Vase was drawn twice using acrylic paint - once on the front and once on the back of a sheet of vellum paper and then cut out by hand. The vase is presented by being dropped. Dropped Vase is the first in a series followed by Hung Vase.
